![]() I never got any cheese for my salad and nachos because even though it was only 7:15 in the evening, all the cheddar cheese in the restaurant was gone according to one employee. The employees couldn't be bothered to bring out plates causing us to have to mill around, but that wasn't a big deal because about a third of the items had run out and it took almost 20 minutes before some of it could be restocked. Well, guess it wasn't the salad, but I couldn't taste much because most of the ingredients were frozen as the temperature of the table was set to freezer level and there was ice on the salad bar. and I know that it's the quantity and not the quality that drives business, but geez, you think that something that i would have eaten would not have been bland and overcooked. I don't know what was worse, the food, the dirty restaurant, the sullen and lazy employees or my fellow diners who were incredibly rude in pushing and shoving people just to get to the macaroni and cheese first. ![]() No supervision terrible dirty ways there. With all the germs and viruses nowdays who wants to eat from the same dishes and utensils that other used and then to have people licking the ice cream and refilling it it is a a racila thing with the elderly man he is old and pitiful not well dressed or clean but I feel they don't ban him or fill his food from a clean dis andhelp him so the rest of us don't eat after him and others that pick at the food. It is awful It should be sold to another company or made into a pizza place. Then he goes to the ice cream fills the cone eats what he just put in it licks it off filled the same cone he ate from by putting it right on the nozzle and ate from it, No one cares I told the manager she just gave me a dirty look and agreed with me. No wait help and the same elderly man was still coming there brings his own tall taco bell cup from his home to sneak food out and he brings his own carryout to fill to be weighed. after people putting their hands in them. Food is old and warmed up or left to dry. The dishes are still wet and slimely and the young man stocking the tableware was taking dirty ones out of the holders and replacing them with other. I don't eat fast food, but I'd rather go to McDonald's than go back to the Old Country Buffet (and that's saying a lot!!!) More In my opinion, eating at a soup kitchen would be more inviting than the food at the buffet. One of the guests said the popcorn shrimp were hard a rocks. There was a decent looking selection of desserts which I didn't try. Had it not been for the signs over the food containers I would have been hard pressed to guess what some of the mystery dishes were. But on a positive note, the Jello was good. The macaroni salad looked great but after one bite I had to spit it out. Nor do I like instant mashed potatoes and packaged gravy. I don't want to pay over $12 for canned carrots, beans, and corn. The food was blahhhh, and I'm being generous. Not wanting to make a scene I decided to let it go. I tried to discuss it with her but she was adamant. included in the party pricing, which was supposedly a much better price but was over $3 higher than the senior price. Where to start? I am a senior citizen and wanted to pay that posted price, which was a couple of dollars lower than the regular price. This was a big family birthday party for my mom's 91st birthday.
